Why did we start WannaEat Seafood?

Our story is simple. John Wannamaker worked in food service for 7-years in a cafeteria holding positions that affected the work of the kitchen, the business, and the experience. As an avid foodie from a Caribbean culture in Brooklyn, NY he took to cooking cultural food that has a rich flavor with simple ingredients.  Brittney Wannamaker is a Texas foodie and has chef'd up meals and ideas to her large home.  She is a Texas native with roots in Houston, TX, and Louisiana where food is cooked with care, flare and cajun spices.  John & Brittney are husband and wife.

They both love to cook and realized in 2018 at a party they were having in their home, that they should bring their kitchen skills to the public. They magically fused the Caribbean and southern food to produce what they call WannaEat Seafood; a derivative of their last name, Wannamaker. Much of the menu is taken from the meals they make at home for their children, friends, and co-workers. Now, WannaEat Seafood is born! Circa 2018
